Monroe College

Monroe College was founded in 1933 with only one goal in mind: To educate men and women from all walks of life to a successful future. Monroe College is a leader in providing focused, career-oriented, quality education that integrates classroom learning with real-world experience. The College offers a range of certificate, associate, bachelor’s and master’s degree programs.

Monroe College stands out for many reasons, and one of those reasons is the faculty who are more than just professors—they are mentors, motivators and members of the one big family. Even more, each professor brings invaluable experience into the classroom. Whether they are former NYPD detectives, business leaders, chefs or nurses, Monroe College professors make sure their students benefit from their practical knowledge. There are no huge lecture halls, because classes are small, instruction is personalized and professors know their students by name. It’s one of the main reasons Monroe College students do well, there’s always a professor who will arrive early or stay late to help a student understand and learn. Because of this dedication, Monroe faculty receive over 90% positive rating on student surveys.

Monroe College has 5 different campuses namely the Bronx Campus with its reputable nursing program, New Rochelle Campus located in downtown New Rochelle with its state-of-the-art Culinary Arts Center, St Lucia Campus situated on the Caribbean island of St. Lucian where campus students can enjoy some of Caribbean’s most stunning beaches, Queens Ext.
